이유있는공간 Exhibition

2013년 7월 선화동에 ‘이유있는공간’이 들어왔다.이유는 하나 다. 20년 넘게 각자 다른 삶을 살아온 이들에게 공통된 이유.

예술을 실천하며 살아가는 것, 단지 그 하나로 이들이 ‘이유있는 공간’이라는 스튜디오를 만들었다. 특별히 거창하게 살아가는 것이 아닌 소소한 작은 움직임을 꿈꾸는 공간을 만들어 가며 선 화동을 중심으로 움직이고 있다.

In July 2013, “Reason For Space” was created in Seonhwadong. The title of the artist studio, ‘Reason for Space’ describes why the artists have gathered and made their space.

For more than 20 years they’ve lived in different situations but they share a common lifestyle practising their art. So they made this studio space.
 Located in Sunhwadong, their aim is to make a space influenced by the surroundings which encourages small scale activities to happen.
 “Reason For Space” (located nearby) will have a group exhibit in Gallery D.A.C. this April.
