Aaron D’Albey

Hailing from Arvada, Colorado, Aaron is constantly busy testing the edges of perceived reality. Having been featured in solo and group exhibitions in the USA as well as South Korea, his work is best described as modern expressionist, although it draws from a number of stylistic influences across several media, cultures and professions past and present. These include Joan Miro, Jackson Pollock, Alexander Calder, Edward Weston, Kim Jung Man, Frank Gehry, Mies Van Der Rohe, Santiago Calatrava, Chinese calligraphy, Southwestern Native American petroglyphs, and the mid-late 20th century NASA space program. He is the owner and proprietor of Aaron D’Albey Studios.

Aaron is the founder of the Daejeon Arts Collective and was a member from 2011 until 2013.
