Mandala Workshop by Rika Scholtz, January 4th,  5-7 pm

Rika Scholtz is an artist originally from Secunda, South Africa. Her ‘Mandala’ artwork is a combination of art and design using technical drawing skills. She finds inspiration for this work from Zentangles and Pinterest. Her workshop will focus on a history of the mandala in art and participants will be able to create their own mandala with guidance from the artist.

Rika’s work will be at Gallery D.A.C. from January 2nd until January 11th, with the opening party taking place on Saturday January 3rd. Come meet the artist and have a look at her work.

Rika Scholtz는 남아프리카공화국의 세쿤다 출신인 예술가 입니다. 그녀의 ‘만달라’ 작품들 기술적 그림 기법을 사용하여 예술과 디자인의 결합으로 만들어집니다. 그녀는 Zentangles와 Pinterest를 통해 이런 작품의 영감을 얻곤 합니다. 그녀의 워크샵은 예술사 속 만달라의 역사에 초점을 둘 것이며, 참여자들은 그녀의 지도를 받아 직접 만달라를 만 들어 볼 수 있습니다.
