Each society around the world has its own way of recognizing and representing death in art and popular culture. Come and learn about some of these symbols and cultures. After a short presentation you can express your own feelings about death through drawing, painting, and collage. For those who are interested, we can have a short discussion about what people made and the meaning behind their pieces.

What will we be creating at the workshop, you ask? I will provide materials for you to express your thoughts about life and death. Here are some examples that I made this weekend. Come to the workshop to find out the meaning behind them!
