Da-Eun Kim is an artist from Daejeon, South Korea. She views the entire human experience as a form of art. As a result, she uses reflections from her own experience to inspire her artwork. She also enjoys using art as a medium to remind her of (sometimes painfully learned) life lessons.

Her primary interest is in hyper-realism so her goal is to portray the subject as realistically as possible. In order to achieve this effect, she prefers using oil paint but also explores using other materials.

She currently runs a one day art class and tutors English to support her life as an artist.
