James Sacha moved from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Daejeon, South Korea in the fall of 2013 to pursue a teaching career. His works are done using spray paint and hand cut stencils in the same way a street artist would do a layered graffiti piece. Many of his paintings use gray-scale to accurately portray the shadows of the original image with color being used primarily as a background. Recently he has been exploring the idea of incorporating augmented reality into his artwork.

James returned to the United States in 2015.
