Jon Augustyn was born in Suwon, South Korea in 1987. He was adopted by an American family at 10 months old and was raised in the state of Michigan. The majority of Jon’s art consists of character designs, line work, and sketches done using a digital medium, such as Photoshop. He has a BFA in Animation from Grand Valley State University and is actively pursuing a career as an illustrator or character designer. Jon became a member of the Daejeon Arts Collective in 2013, but left Korea for the States soon after.
