Fall 2015 . #8

Another successful opening event for the Daejeon Arts Collective was held this past weekend on the afternoon of Saturday, November 7th, 2015 as the group kicked off their fall exhibition. This show, named simply #8, marks the Collective’s eighth group exhibition since its founding in 2011. The live music provided by the guitarist/vocalist duo Gaz and Asuncion and the refreshments made for a warm welcome to the community to enjoy the various mediums of art and meet with the artists themselves.

With the still-growing membership of the DJAC, #8 proved to be the largest exhibition to date. Twenty artists displayed their work, including furniture, multimedia installations, ceramics, collages, graphic arts, embroidery, painting and photography. The fall exhibition took place over the week of November 7-11th in the Gallery of the Yuseong Cultural Center.
